Clusters

Learn the story behind our network, and get to know each Cluster

WHAT'S A CLUSTER?

Clusters are teams of local people with different skills and from different backgrounds.

They collaborate to bring health and wellbeing to their community.

To do this, they build local relationships, mobilise local strengths and resources, develop support networks, run training and host events. Our wider network shares their wisdom, links them to others, and provides training and support.

HOW DID IT BEGIN?

Ted is a global health doctor. In 2004 he had an idea that formed the basis for a Cluster.

"Whilst living and working in the Himalayas, I saw many small organisations doing their own thing in their own way; passionately but often ineffectively, competing with or ignoring each other. I decided to try and come up with a solution to maximise their effectiveness through collaboration."
