THE STORY
The Cluster is located in North Kivu, Goma. A region that is increasingly hosting displaced people from the ongoing conflict.
With the population rapidly increasing, diseases are on the rise and access to food and healthcare has been limited. The Cluster came together to raise awareness and share their strengths and skills to improve their health and wellbeing.
WHAT THEY'RE DOING
Promoting healthy affordable eating
Their 'One Plot One Garden' program is has seen them create simple vegetable gardens with the little space they have.
Supporting the dependent​
Their entrepreneurship and income generating activities has seen them provide school supplies for orphans and porridge to elderly women.

We believe that communities, even the “poorest” and most marginalized, have the inherent capabilities necessary to take ownership of their future.
