Bihar is one of India's most populous states, and also one of its poorest.
Around 90% of people live in rural areas, and healthcare is hard for many to access. Inspired and nurtured by Uttarakhand Cluster, Christian health and development workers in Bihar came together in 2016 to start to collaboratively address some of the region’s health issues.
WHAT THEY'RE DOING
Mapping the strengths in the Cluster ensures that members can access the help they need.
MEET A MEMBER
I hope that our collective voice and work makes a difference in making health accessible to all.
Abraham Dennyson was an engineer, but retrained to work in public health.
Motivated by malnourishment in his region, he helped set up the Cluster, and has now completed a postgraduate qualification in Public Health Nutrition.
