Relief for Goma

Earlier this year, the M23 rebel group captured the city of Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This had a profound impact on the Goma Cluster, who were working together to assist in humanitarian efforts in the region.


The takeover meant that communication was cut off, and for their safety, the Cluster members had to remain indoors. At the same time, they — along with many others in the city — were unable to access food.


Thanks to the generous support of our Friends and partners, we were able to send a relief fund to assist families in urgent need. You can watch the video of the Cluster receiving the food below:
